Providing Hope for Lincoln County

It is the mission of The Connection Homeless Shelter Inc. to provide shelter, awaken hope, and honor dignity for the men, women and children who seek support or assistance while experiencing homelessness in our community. We bring this mission to life every day by helping those we serve to regain their stability and self-sufficiency, overcome their barriers, and obtain permanent housing. We strive to continually increase our community impact through the provision of housing and housing related services.

Our Capabilities

Serving Lincoln County with love đź’•

The Connection provides shelter to over 350 men, women and children each year. Lengths of stay for our residents vary from one or two nights to the max allotted period of twenty-four months. While staying at The Connection residents are provided not only a safe place to live but an opportunity for three-meals a day, bathroom facilities, hygiene products, clothing, and a variety of other items to meet their basic needs and help begin the process of moving them out of survival mode.

We’re here when it matters most.

Through acts of hospitality and love – these stories are possible.
The Connection is a place of understanding, help, concern, guidance, and trust.
